About Me

Richard is a Cloud Data Engineer at The iRobot Corporation, the number one provider of clean homes. Prior to joining iRobot, Richard spent several years at Amazon Inc. (Robotics and Alexa) and over a decade in the defense industry. He loves building large distributed systems with as little code as possible.

Richard can often be found telling the same 6 jokes over and over, speaking with his hands, and signing up for races then never training. Richard holds a master's degree in Statistics from Stony Brook University and is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Developer - Associate, and Security Specialty.
